Volunteers for Outdoor Arizona has one full-time staff position (Executive Director).
Michael Baker, the current Executive Director, is an employee of the Dorothy Garske Center,
a private operating foundation and on loan for 90% of his time to VOAz.
Additional paid support for VOAz program development is provided through contracts. All other "staff" are volunteers.

Committee Chairs
The VOAz board of directors appoints committee chairs (usually board members) to help it and the
Executive Director in their work.
This allows us to meet our obligations while retaining a small, functional board. All are dues paying members of VOAz.
If you have skills and interests relevant to any of these committees and would like to contribute,
please contact the chair or the Executive Director.
