Schultz Fire Land & Trails Rehabilitation - National Trails Day on Little Bear Trail - Flagstaff
The Little Bear Trail on the north east slope of Mount Eldon is in the heart of the 2010 Schultz Fire area. Closed because of dead fall dangers. there has also been serious erosion on this dramatic trail. The FS has removed dangerous trees, so that restoration can now get underway. This National Trails Day event will kick-off rehabilitation work on this 3.5 mile long trail starting from Little Elden Trail. Work either on NTD (Saturday) or Sunday or both.  VIEW DETAILS

Canyon Creek Invasive Plant Removal - Bullthistle & Canada Thistle Eradication - Off Young Road
BEAT THE HEAT IN THE RIM COUNTRY!! Bullthistle and Canada thistle are our targets. This is our 7th year at this beautiful spot in Arizona and we have made real progress in bringing the thistle under control. We will spray florets, cut off seed heads, and grub out plants.  VIEW DETAILS
