protect native flora and fauna with other volunteers of all ages and abilities who want to both enjoy and preserve nature.
VOAz is a community of outdoor volunteers who plan, manage, and complete worthy environmental stewardship work.

Highline Trail Rehabilitation - Pre-clear corridor for Highline Trail realignment - Payson
We will use hand tools finish pre clearing at several points along 1.5 miles of the Highline Trail east of the power line access junction with the Highline on Saturday. Friday we will use the ST 240 dozer/hoe for some erosion control landscaping east of the power line. Real 4x4 drive up and down the powerline access road. May need one volunteer with a 4x4 to transport crew.  VIEW DETAILS

Highline Trail Rehabilitation - Pre-clear corridor for Highline Trail realignment - Payson/Christopher Creek
We will use hand tools and powered brush cutter to pre clear four realignment sections along 2 miles of the Highline Trail east and west of the junction with Derrick. Three mile hike on mostly good trail into the work area on Saturday into a beautiful reach of the trail.  VIEW DETAILS

Highline Trail Rehabilitation - American Hiking Society Volunteer Vacation – Horto - Payson
Erosion control, revegetation, and trail repairs will be done as we make our final pass through Horton Creek Trail. Register for this event through the AHS web site: click here If you want to participate for less than the week, email the event contact person.
