Highline National Recreation Trail Restoration

Sep 29 - Sep 30
Highline Trail Rehabilitation - Trailhead Finishing - Christopher Creek
We will use powered (including the 240 trail machine) and hand tools to close old trails, dismantle fire rings and groom new alignment through this increasingly popular trailhead, which is why it needs to be done during the week.  VIEW DETAILS
Offered by: Volunteers for Outdoor Arizona

Oct 10 - Oct 11
Highline Trail Rehabilitation - Hatchery Road Area - Maintenance & Repair - East of Payson
The trail from the Fish Hatchery TH to the Zane Gray access road was worked in in the Spring of 2012. We will do some maintenance and repairs and then hop over the road to continue with work on finishing more of the highline. While there, we will reset one boulder at the Tonto Creek crossing.  VIEW DETAILS
