In this picture, but not in this order: Dick Mayo, Ed Blanchard, Eric Anderson, Eric
Trollinger, Gail Landry, Jennifer DeWitt, Ken Fiebelkorn, Ken Ryan, Ken Satoyoshi, Marge
Sparks, Michael Baker, Mike Galwey, Mike Henderson, Mike Snodgrass, Nathan Bradley, Pati
Hodges, and Rob Owens.
Barely visible are Cheryle Wenkle and Cyn Turner who brought the llama team.

On Saturday, this crew worked on about 85% of the length of the trail segment leading from the bottom of the drainage up to the access trail.

Eric's crew building a switchback. A lot of innovation was required to find ways to get
water off this steep trail.

In some sections the trail followed a drainage line until it could be directed off trail.
Check/Steps were placed here to aid trail users and prevent further down-cutting.

Pati and Ken Fiebelkorn used Palo Verde limbs to obstruct the interior of a turn.

These four are not hauling a fallen volunteer. It is a step rock.
On Sunday, Kathy Sharp and Rogil Schroeter led a large group of the volunteers through the slot. (return top the main report page for images from within the slot from prior trips).
Here Kathy demonstrates a lateral, balanced-thrust hip-drop move from transiting between
pools.
Other shots of the team entering the canyon. (The photographer didn't go through.)
