One of our nicer "home away from home" camp spots; Lou welcomes everyone

Ace and Carey working as a team to protect non-paintable objects

Bill, Dan, and Deb repainting the ranger contact station;
Fred's paint crew pose at their bathroom painting assignment

Meanwhile back at the campground, Ted and Ken demonstrate how to remove canal obstructions

Anna's group working hard removing obstructions; Susan and John digging;
Judy B explains wireless connections (we're not just ditch diggers)

Ted, Charlie, Jim, and Phoebe chipping away; Phoebe and Cherie taking that all important break;
Ted and Charlie's team enjoying a little shade

Ken's team included Jerome who was not afraid of wearing pink; Linda doing her part;
team taking a break except for their leader

There was the "take 10 items and build something" contest; Ken's creation was out of organic materials;
Anna creating her winning sculpture (received "more difficult" points); Maya making sure there is no cheating;
Ken conceding victory to his daughter

Judy's Culinary School - Ace, Carey, & Judy H prepare a delicious breakfast enjoyed by all

Upstream vegetation was thicker; Anna supervises as Judy B clears a section

Susan removes hay from pile of dirt; Mark & Fred load it up to fill areas around the water fountain

and erosion around the bridge leading to the picnic area

Then there is the tradition of the mother duck waiting for the water to be
released from the Well and be swept away to inspect the cleared irrigation canal

Gail and her never ending hope that she will one day be able to host a decent crawfish boil
